I made a questionnaire so that I could ask people their opinions on my ideas for my music video so far. I also want to see what they like about music videos in general to help me make something more engaging for them. I have sent the questionnaire mainly to people in my target audience so that I can get specific answers from the people who will most likely be watching my music video.

I made a few graphs/ charts for questions 2, 3, 4, 6, 9, 10 and 11 (the multiple choice questions), to see who my demographic is and to see more
clearly what
the people in my audience think about my current ideas. For example, in q6 (to the right), I can see that the most popular style of video is a
concept style
video. I can also see that in q11 (to the right), the majority of my audience thinks that a concept style video suits my genre. The favourite location is a street and people have suggested things such as a
skate park or a shop which I hadn't thought about including before. Furthermore, I asked what grabbed their attention the most in a music video and the vast majority chose cinematography which is really good since one of the elements that I will be focusing on the most is that.

Q5. The results on whether people watched a lot of music videos or not was quite varied from person to person. However, I noticed a pattern that men watch videos more often than women. So I'm probably looking to appeal more to a male audience.
Q7. A lot of people had hip-hop music videos as their favourite music video - common things they liked that are included in their favourite videos are interesting narrative, colours, specific filters/ camera lenses, outfits, cinematography and special effects. I will be making sure to pay really close attention to details like this.
Q8. People had very mixed views on their ideal type of music video - there was no specific pattern of whether people likes slower or faster videos more.
Q12. Many told me that I should include a narrative, focus on colours and include lip-synching a bit.
In conclusion, from looking at these questionnaires I have made the following changes to my video:
- I will be including a narrative (even if it's vague)
- I will include some lip synching
- I will play with different filters
- It may have elements of a concept style video
- One of my locations will be a street
