Our Spotify



When we think about how to promote a record label/ brand, the first platforms that come to mind are Instagram, Facebook or Twitter. However, Spotify has become increasingly used as a marketing strategy with brands such as Urban Outfitters, GymShark and Nike being huge advocates for it. It has many benefits, including having over 406 million users which means there is a very wide audience reach.


Creating branded Spotify playlists allows you to engage with your audience much more than with traditional advertising. People listen to music in all moments: traveling, studying or when they're around friends. It doesn't take the audience any effort or active engagement with the platform which is practical for them and you are also getting the publicity you need.


It is key to have a playlist strategy. You can make a genre-based or theme-based playlist, design cover art and think about using music that will appeal to your target audience the most.



To make the cover art for my playlists I used Spotlistr. You can select any image and play with the fonts, colours and size.
